G+H Photography’s talented photographers caught every minute of this spectacular reception, from the floral arrangements to the smiles and laughters of the newlywed. The playfulness and outgoing personality of the couple exudes in every photo. Ambi’s and Rajish wedding reception was at Woodbine Banquet Hall and the theme was winter wonderland.  The bride looked stunning in blue lengha with stunning gold intricate work and the groom sported a charcoal gray suit.

Garima from G+H Photography is one of MY favorite photographers. Her photographs are heavenly and lovely. The images are rich with color, very detailed and Ambi and Rajish’s wedding is no different. Their tamil hindu wedding ceremony at Crystal Fountain Banquet embodied complete and utter beauty. The bride’s first saree was a gorgeous pink saree. The groom looked very handsome in his cream colored Sherwani as he waited under the floral mandap for his bride. The entrance of the ceremony was adorned with a beautiful kolam.

Ambi brought something different the table this was once a fashion – a mustard koorai saree, which commonly is red and it was gorgeous!  Check it out!

It’s a joy  to see the different styles of sarees out there and sometimes it can be overwhelming. My advice for the ladies is that every girl aims to look different and you can make it happen by choosing the right type of saree – the color, the blouse design and material – it all matters. If you bring every bit of your personality into the saree you will surely stand out. Pick something that works well with your  complexion.

Find the look and let the rest fall into its place.

I thought i might help you out by sharing some amazing designer sarees and here we have Kalamandir’s 2010 designs that were printed on the calendar. These are dreamlike sarees modeled  by beautiful women.

Sathya + Gobi Happy Anniversary!

Last year we had the pleasure of planning Sathya and Gobi’s extravagant and beautiful wedding The two-day celebration commenced with a hindu ceremony at the Richmond Hill Hindu Temple and to keep things very traditional they went with the gold and red color theme. The beautiful and lavish reception was held at Crystal Fountain Banquet Hall. The bride wore her koorai (red bridal sari) and changed into a customized green lengha and the groom wore a fitted gray suit. Green, cream and brown were the colors of the reception which kept everything classy. The room was lit up with LED lights and intelligent lighting. The fresh floral arrangements contained lots and lots of hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, roses, and snapdragons.

These two are an amazing couple and it was such an honour to be a part of their special day! Thank you guys!

Brenda and Jitesh’s two day ceremony included a Chinese Tea ceremony. The bride wore a beautiful bright red cheongsam that was adorned with rich gold work and the groom looked handsome in his tux. The bride then changed into a gorgeous strapless gown and they kept the indian tradition going with the bridesmaids who were rocking sarees.

Andrew Adam’s photographs encapsulate the amazing relationship of both the families and the amazing time they had on this special day.

For the reception the bride changed into a beautiful dusty rose saree.  The purple and gold colour theme with hints of pink brings in a touch of royalty and further enhances the traditional aspect of this rich multi-faith wedding.

I’m extremely excited to share this wedding I received from Andrew Adams Photography. Their work is stunning and ridiculously awesome as it captures the true essence of Brenda and Jitesh’a Indian Sikh – Chinese wedding. Their two day affair in Toronto was filled with every bit of culture, colour and love. The bride wore a gorgeous burgundy lengha and matching her was the groom in his Sherwani.

Andrew’s work is exquisite and each image oozes of emotion, intimacy, and timeless moments. These are spectacular photographs destined to bring smiles and awes.
