There’s something about white that I love so much. This year i love it more than anything. I want to decorate my room completely white, buy a white sari, a white lengha, a white salwar…i think you get the point. This admiration for white had me thinking about white vases as a centrepiece. If you have the white tablecloth with the white vase, the bright coloured flowers will pop out that much more. It can be elegant, fun, traditional – whatever you want it to be. It all just depends on what type of white vase you’re picking up.

When you plan an event there’s a mood you want to establish in the room. The mood is reflective of the personality type you and soon-to-be carry. It’s anywhere from playful, corky to elegant. Sometimes the best way to do that is by using candles. Use the right candles and you can easily leverage your guests into feeling the way you want them to feel! Remember it’s all about the candles.

Napkins. Matter.

If you are going for elegance my advice is keep it simple. Do NOT stick the napkins in the glass. Use simple napkin folds and it will create a great look.
