Lip Moisturizing Balm

Lip Moisturizing Balm

1/2 cup (30ml) Sesame oil

1/2 cup (20g) grated beeswax

1tsp honey

5 drops peppermint essential oil

Melt the sesame oil, grated beeswax, and honey over gentle heat in a double boiler.

When melted, add the peppermint oil and remove form the heat.

Stir until thickened and pour into small, sterile containers. Let it cool.

Beeswax’s natural properties soften and protect the lips, making it the ideal ingredient for a moisturizing balm. (Organic Beauty by Josephine Fairley)

For those planning an Indian affair you definitely have to check out this video of an event at The Park Hyatt in Toronto. The event is called Bridalicious and its sole purpose is to educate and inform brides-to-be; help them feel confident in wedding decisions.

There were 3 themes that all of the participating guest speakers were required to tackle: Clarity, Innovation and Customization. Our friends at CTC West provided key insight into these topics, as did the other presenting partners (G+H Photography, Amplified Soul Make-Up + Hair Couture, and Arora Wedding and Event Planning)

Design 2 Decor did the fabulous set up.
